Luftbild Flughafen Husum-Schwesing und Flugplatz Husum-Narrenthal | Der Flugplatz Husum-Narrenthal bzw. Schauendahl, nordlich von Husum, wurde 1937 von der neu aufgestellten Luftwaffe übernommen und zu einem größeren Militärflugplatz ausgebaut. Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs diente er als wichtiger Stützpunkt für die deutsche Luftwaffe, insbesondere für den Schutz der deutschen Nordseeküste.
